These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ZombieUP website and iPhone app (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
ZombieUP is an entertainment and fitness-motivation game that converts your real-world physical activity into in-game progress. It is not a medical device or a source of medical advice. Game statistics (kills, XP, loot, resources) are for fun and motivation only. Consult a physician before beginning any exercise program, and always exercise with awareness of your surroundings.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You're responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for anything that happens under your account. One account per human; zombies are not eligible.
With your permission, ZombieUP reads workout data (and optionally sleep and stand data) from Apple Health to power gameplay. We use it to calculate your in-game progress, squad contributions, and leaderboard standings. We do not sell your personal data. You can revoke access at any time in your device settings, and you can request export or deletion of your data by emailing zombieupsupport@gmail.com.
Squad chat and community features exist so survivors can train together. Don't harass, threaten, or impersonate others; don't post illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit content; don't spam. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Progress must come from real effort. Spoofing workouts, manipulating health data, botting, or exploiting bugs to gain rank may result in progress resets or account termination.
ZombieUP, its logos, characters, art, and game systems are our property. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the Service. You keep ownership of content you submit (like chat messages and profile info), and grant us a license to display it within the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost data, lost progress, or injuries arising from physical activity. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months (which, for a free game, is probably zero dollars and zero zombie teeth).
We may update the Service and these Terms as the game evolves; material changes will be reflected in the date above. You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
